On June 1, 2019, after 3 years of spiritual opposition and difficulties with corrupt local authorities,nearly 1500 people prayed and praised our Lord Jesus Christ at the opening and dedication of El Bethel Roma church in Samokov, Bulgaria. El Bethel is the biggest evangelical church in Bulgaria, and the fact that it is in Samokov is very special to me personally. My grandmother, Gladys Edwards House Williams, was born there on August 2, 1890, while her parents Dr. John Henry and Mrs. Susan Adeline Beers House were serving as Missionaries. I was blessed to get to visit beautiful Samokov myself in 2002.
